Uno Mas.....

Three generations, three families, one location, and my light was fading fast! I love late afternoon light, as do many photographers. I was fortunate enough to shoot this extended family amongst the oak trees and fading light. It was perfect. Not to mention that the group was a very handsome group! Here are a few images from our late November shoot.....

More Family Portraits!

I ABSOLUTELY adore this family! Lee, Les, Alex, and Kate were the subjects of my very first shoot ever over three years ago. They were brave enough to give me a shot! They are some of the nicest peeps I have ever met! Here are some images from this years shoot.....

Meet the Byard's

Way back in the beginning of November I met up with Bobbie, Eric, and Cody to do their 2008 family portraits. We had so much fun! We started the day at Lake Natoma and then made our way to Old Folsom. We finished the day at a park down the street from there house with their dog. I can't tell you guys the last time I laughed so much during a shoot! Thanks guys! I had a great day with you!

Long time...no post!

I know, I know....I am horrible! What can I say, the holidays caught up with me! Now, however, I can breathe and I will catch up an share some of the shoots I have been on recently!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Introducing Sydnee & Seth!

I just love my niece and nephew! They are the biggest hams! A couple weeks ago, while we were all over at my mom and dad's for Sunday night dinner, I decided snap away while they were goofing around in the backyard. I had so much fun with them....I guess I always do though!

Funky Pictures!

One of my co-workers informed me a couple weeks ago that my pictures on my blog are pixelated. I thought that is weird, they look fine on my computer! I went home that night and changed the sizes of the images thinking that would fix it. Oh, how wrong I was! While the images look good on my computer, they don't look so how on others. I don't know what to do to fix it. =( I just wanted to let you all know that I am actively working on it and hopefully all will be good soon! Feel free to drop me a comment if they are yucky on your computer.....it is much appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Halloween Fun

Halloween was too much fun this year! We went over to a friends house for their annual Halloween party. My costume was a joke this year. The original plan was to be a beer wench. When I tried on the costume, I just about came out of my skin it was so itchy! So, being the procrastinator that I am, I waited until the very last minute to get a costume. I picked up one of those cheap ER doctor costumes thinking that would last the night. Oh, how wrong I was. About a hour after we arrived, Alyssa let me know I had a little rip. At that point it wasn't too bad. It got progressively worse throughout the night. By the end of the night I was holding my pants together. It was quite embarrassing! Thank goodness it was Halloween and one can typically get away with it!

Connie did The Joker's makeup....she did a KILLER job!

Apple Hill

All I wanted to do for my birthday this year was to go to Apple Hill. So, we braved the crowds a couple weeks ago and had a blast! We started our day having breakfast at Apple Cafe....yummy!

After that we started our Applelicious day at High Hill...checkin out the crafts and tasting Apple Beer. I thought it was going to be actually apple beer, only to find out it was a mix of Bud Light and Apple Cider. The first half was pretty good....after that we weren't so impressed.....

After we left High Hill, we bounced all over Apple Hill....mainly hitting the wineries and breweries. It was a very fun day!

Alyssa: Portraits...Part 2!

Here are some more pictures from my shoot with Alyssa last month. I have been so busy, I have fallen behind!

We bounced all around Downtown Sacramento. We started the day in one of the candy shops. From there we had a wardrobe change and took some pictures in the parking lot where we were parked. It was awesome! Killer light! Every new spot required wardrobe change and hair and make up change. We also hit the old school house, the docks on the Sacramento River, and the railroad tracks in Latrobe.

Nicole & Dominic: Wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting Nicole and Dominic's Wedding Saturday. What a blast! They are an absolutely adoreable couple! I have a bunch of pics to soon post, but for now here is one.

Alyssa: Portraits

A couple weeks ago met up with Alyssa and her mom and had a awesome photo shoot. We trapesed all over Old Sacramento taking pictures. From the Candy Store to the American River...we had too much fun! I have a ton more to post, but here is one to hold you all over until I get them up here!

Ok.....one more.....

Our Friday nights....

Every Friday night we, The Boy and I, go to Darin and Jill's for a night of good food, good friends, and TONS of pool. It isn't uncommon for us to still be up playing pool at 3 o'clock in the morning.

This last weekend Darin's mom and brother joined us. We had too much fun! Here are some images from the night!

Jill shooting behind the back....showoff! =) Nice Job!

Darin's brother Eric's turn.....

Momma Mary.....

Moi...so focused!

Darin tried endlessly to get in The Boy's game....to no avail.

We play many pool games, 8-ball, 9-ball, cut-throat, etc. We also play a game called bottle pool, and yes it is actually a game! Anyway, Darin and The Boy were trying to explain this game to Mary and Eric.....is was hysterical! Here is a picture, which doesn't do the story justice unfortunately!
By the end of the night, we were down to one cue stick (we started the night with 3).
And last but not least, here is the pool room mascot....the possum. That poor guy is so abused!
