Haley....The Rodeo Queen

Here are a few pictures of Haley.....finally! We had such a good time that afternoon! I can't wait to do her senior portraits a little later this summer.

Jason & Whitney

Here are a few images from Jason and Whitney's Wedding.

I used to work with Jason a few years ago....actually when they first started dating. I was honored when they asked me to take pictures at their reception.

Whitney and I emailed each other numerous times to arrange everything, but I didn't actually meet her until the day of the reception. She is a kick in the pants! She was totally relaxed and ready to have a great day.

Such a fun couple to shoot. They were totally up for anything! They are so cute together too. =)

I hope they have a very, very happy and blessed life together! Congratulations!

This is one of my favorites...

OMG!!!!

Oh my goodness!!!! The Boy just hooked up my monitor.....I am in awe! Going from a 15" laptop monitor to a 22" HDMI monitor is awesome! When I get my new workstation it is going kick ass!

Man, The Boy knows his stuff!

Weddings & Rodeo Queens

I finally finished editing Jason and Whitney's wedding images. I cannot wait to give it to them! This couple was super cute! I will post some pictures a little later this week....

Last night I went on a super fun shoot with a rodeo queen. This girl is so photogenic it is almost ridiculous! We had such a good time. She had her entourage with her (mom, hairstylist/2nd mom, and her friend) and I brought The Boy with me to help out. We were quite the group walking around El Dorado. We found some of the coolest places to shoot!

He he...I snapped a pic of The Boy when he wasn't paying attention. Unfortunately, he got me back.....

So much editing to do, so little time! I have so many things I want to blog about and pictures to share.....I just need to get through to the end of the school year and I will play catch up! Keep checkin back!

Sooo busy....sooo excited!

Oh my goodness! I have been uber busy lately.....actually, I guess I am always pretty busy! =)
I have been busy working on a ton of pictures. I promise I will post some soon.

Also, I am ordering a new monitor tonight! I am so excited to get a new one....a bigger one at that! This is the first step in fixing my black screen of death problem I had last month. I thought I would just go out and pick up a monitor, oh how wrong I was. I had no idea how involved buying a new monitor was; contrast ratio, milliseconds, is it HDMI compatible......aah, too many things! None of which I knew until I started this process over a week ago. Thank goodness The Boy is super patient with me and explained everything....just one of the many things I love about him. =)

Ok, on to buying my monitor......more soon!

Marlena & Erika

A couple weeks ago I hung out with Marlena and Erika. We had so much fun! These girls are too cute and were up for anything! We started off in Latrobe and made our way into Old Folsom. Here are some of my favs.....I had such a hard time choosing which ones to put up!

Marlena is up first.....

Aren't her eyes amazing!

Erika is up next....

These two girls are so photogenic and so much fun to shoot! I can't wait to do it again!

I am sure I will be posting more pics of these awesome girls soon!

The Black Screen of Death....

....or at least I thought it was! I kinda freaked out yesterday when I tried to turn on my computer and all I got was a black screen. I could hear it running, but nothing was on the display. =(

Thankfully I was at The Boy's (aka my boyfriend) shop. He calmed me down and and figured out what was wrong. Apparently the backlight stopped working. I thought that was weird since not even two hours earlier I was using it at home. I guess these things just happen. It was probably a blessing in disguise since I out grew my computer a while ago.

I was going to upgrade sometime this year....well, that sometime just got a lot closer! I told The Boy tonight that I wanted him to start building me my dream workstation. I am super excited! It is going to be so dang fast...hehe.....

San Francisco

I went to San Francisco with my friend Kim last weekend. The weather was unreal. I don't think I have ever been to San Fran when the temperature was in the 80's. We could not believe how many people were out and about! They were doing everything from bicycling to soccer to running to bocce ball. It was awesome!

We wanted to go there to see Annie Leibovitz's exhibit at the Legion of Honor Museum. The exhibit was great. It was a great mixture of the celebrity portraiture she has done as well as personal life experiences. I loved it!

After we finished at the museum we went to Fisherman's Wharf for lunch and then trapezed around the city taking pictures. I can't even guess how many miles we walked! We ended our day at the Palace of Fine Arts.....I can see why so many people have wedding or engagement pictures taken there. It was beautiful, even with the construction going on.

We had so much fun...good girl day!

Bloggalicious

This is my first attempt at a blog.....let's see how well I do.

I love to read other people's blogs. I find some of their lives so much more interesting than mine. It is an escape from my life and a dip into anothers. I am sure some people find my life interesting, I sure don't. All I do is work. Don't get me wrong I love my jobs. Well, actually I think I love the people I work with the most.

A friend of mine has his own website/blogsite.....it is pretty cool. I love how he has laid it all out. Anyway, the purpose of stating that was to say in one of his posts he started a list of 101 things to do in the next 1001 days. I love that idea and am inspired to do the same. I don't think I want to put a timeline on it though. Just 101 things I want to do before I die.....or whenever.
